Hawk-Eye Operator (Sports Technology)

Location: Event-based in the UK with regular travel across Europe and internationally; occasional work at the Basingstoke office

What you will do

• Coordinate with broadcast personnel, match officials, teams, and other stakeholders before matches and tournaments.
• Set up Tracking and SMART Replay systems at sporting venues, including rigging cameras and running cables.
• Perform pre-match system checks and operate Hawk-Eye technologies during live matches.
• Monitor hardware and software performance, troubleshoot issues, and complete post-match reports.
• Maintain equipment during the off-season and support research and development of new projects and technologies.
• Adapt deployments across sports, systems, teams, and changing operational environments.

Requirements

• Currently studying towards an undergraduate degree.
• Strong foundation in technology with an interest in problem-solving.
• Professional communication, active listening, teamwork, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Passion for sport and interest in innovation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK, Europe, and internationally, work weekends and midweek evenings, and operate in high-pressure live broadcast environments.
• Strong time management and resilience in a rapidly changing operational environment.
