Payments Fraud Monitoring Analyst (24/7 Shift Rotation, Fintech)

What you will do

• Monitor the full lifecycle of suspicious payment cases, from real-time detection and investigation to restrictive actions and post-incident monitoring.
• Analyse real-time reports to identify gateway faults, integration vulnerabilities, bonus abuse, and glitch exploitation.
• Analyse large datasets to detect irregular transaction patterns, velocity spikes, and abnormal funding behaviour.
• Create and maintain investigation procedures for specific fraud typologies.
• Develop new risk parameters and improve fraud detection models to reduce false positives.

Requirements

• BA/BSc in Finance or Economics.
• Strong analytical, attention-to-detail, communication, problem-solving, and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Basic understanding of DAX for handling data models.
• Eligibility or legal authorization to work in Cyprus is required.
• Resumes must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in AML, anti-fraud, or risk management.
• Certified Fraud Examiner seminars or certification.
