What you will do

• Build and maintain custom Shopify storefronts, themes, and headless commerce experiences using Liquid, React, Next.js, Remix, and TypeScript.
• Design and develop Shopify apps, backend APIs, and integrations with enterprise systems using Node.js, PostgreSQL, and iPaaS tools.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and clients to define technical needs and deliver scalable commerce solutions.
• Implement reusable components, optimize performance, and ensure accessibility and scalability of code.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• Must be able to work remotely from Canada, USA, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Uruguay, UK, Ireland, or Portugal.
• Strong experience with Shopify ecosystem including Admin API, Storefront API, and Theme App Extensions.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, Remix, TypeScript, Node.js, and Liquid.
• Experience with database design, migrations, and integrations (PostgreSQL, Prisma ORM).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI and cutting-edge technology in software development.
• Familiarity with Shopify Functions, custom checkout logic, and scalable architectures.
• Knowledge of API authentication, webhooks, and deployment pipelines.
