Technical Manfacturing Chemist I

Location: Scarborough, Maine, US; onsite contract assignment from October 6, 2026, through March 31, 2027.

What you will do

• Produce critical and non-critical bioreagents for manufacturing processes.
• Perform in-process quality control testing using laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Maintain production schedules, raw bioreagent supplies, and manufacturing coordination.
• Investigate production problems and identify process improvements.
• Create and follow protocols for product improvement while maintaining safety procedures.
• Maintain quality systems and ensure compliance with GMP and GLP standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with pipettes, spectrophotometry, HPLC, pH meters, gel electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, and ELISA assays.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with moderate supervision.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet, database, manufacturing, and word-processing software.
• Detail-oriented approach, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality.
