Project Consulting Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Vienna, Austria; at least 3 days per week in the office required

Salary: €54,400–€89,425 per year, potentially including sales incentive payments; bonus and equity may also apply

What you will do

• Support experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to major hirify.global clients.
• Analyze client data, identify trends, and assess data quality with guidance.
• Conduct market research and data analysis focused on the payments industry.
• Develop client-specific presentations by adapting templates and articulating key messages.
• Support senior consultants with advisory solutions covering business strategy, product development and pricing, customer segmentation, and customer experience improvement.
• Use emerging technologies, including generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, in everyday work.

Requirements

• Strategic and analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to break down problem statements into distinct pieces of analysis.
• Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis with guidance and use data to support decision-making.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation tools.
• Strong collaboration, multitasking, and adaptability skills.
• Interest in payments technology, fintech, digital products, financial institutions, or consumer lending.

Nice to have

• Experience in the payment industry, digital payments, or payment processing.
• Interest in advanced analytics tools such as SAS, R, or Tableau.
• Experience or interest in financial institutions or consumer lending.
