Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid remote/in-office role

What you will do

• Evaluate and acquire data assets, analyze large datasets, and establish best practices for using company and client data.
• Design and deliver scalable analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions for internal and external clients.
• Develop product prototypes and apply data mining, text mining, regression, XGBoost, neural networks, SVM, and ensemble methods.
• Validate model and score performance, define business assumptions, and document and present modeling outcomes.
• Support sales and consultancy activities, strengthen client relationships, and create materials for knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Lead analytical programs, guide project teams, mentor colleagues, and improve data quality, model performance, and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• Professional experience in data science, statistics, computer science, machine learning, and programming.
• Proficiency in Python and expertise in advanced algorithms for practical business problems.
• Understanding of data structures and their applications in marketing, risk, and customer management.
• Familiarity with regression models, XGBoost, neural networks, SVM, and ensemble methods.
• At least 3 years of experience defining scope and delivering customized analytics projects.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Madrid, Spain.
