Data & Analytics Consultant Intern (AI)

Location: Paseo de la Castellana 216, Puerta de Europa, Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.

What you will do

• Design analytical solutions for client challenges and implement prototypes to assess their effectiveness.
• Develop machine learning and NLP tools, including models for credit rating downgrades and customer churn.
• Build probability of default, loss, portfolio decarbonization, promotion analytics, and supply chain risk models.
• Validate customer-facing GenAI chatbots and apply bespoke AI-based risk methodologies.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues at all levels to explain data science concepts and share analytical ideas.
• Work on projects across financial services, climate and sustainability, energy, retail, transportation, and other industries.

Requirements

• Current penultimate-year Bachelor’s or Master’s student in a quantitative discipline, such as Data Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering, from a top academic program.
• Data-driven mindset, strong numerical ability, and the ability to explain sophisticated data science concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
• Programming skills in Python or R, together with eagerness to continuously extend knowledge of technologies.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and resilience in a creative, constantly changing environment.
• Excellent command of English and fluency in Spanish or Portuguese are required.
• Availability for an 8–24 week full-time internship between June and July 2027 or from September to December 2027.
