Finance Director, Southeast Asia - Life Sciences Platform

Location: Singapore; on-site role. Limited travel may be required within Southeast Asia.

What you will do

• Establish and lead financial operating infrastructure for the SEA LSIG/Omics business, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, close calendars, commercial finance processes, and governance.
• Own Commercial FP&A and act as a strategic finance partner to commercial leadership, providing performance analysis, decision support, and recommendations.
• Monitor orders, revenue, funnel health, pricing, margins, and operating metrics through daily management and operating reviews.
• Build standardized planning, reporting, analytics, business case, customer deal evaluation, and investment assessment capabilities.
• Partner with commercial, platform, OpCo Finance, Accounting, Tax, and outsourced service teams to support growth and go-to-market execution.
• Lead financial controls, compliance, process improvements, organizational design, DBS Kaizens, workshops, SOP development, and standard work deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA, CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, commercial finance, and business partnering roles.
• Experience operating in complex, matrixed, and multi-country environments.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, modeling, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial systems.
• Strong commercial judgment, strategic acumen, leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Life sciences, medical devices, diagnostics, IVD, or regulated healthcare experience is highly desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot in Excel or PowerPoint.
