TL;DR
Junior Gen AI Engineer (AI) (Generative AI, Python): Building and deploying AI-powered applications, APIs, and integrations for warehouse orchestration, distribution, and logistics with an accent on generative AI, prompt engineering, and model evaluation. Focus on developing scalable agentic AI solutions, integrating enterprise data sources, and monitoring and optimizing systems across the application lifecycle.
Location: ATHENS DC, Aspropyrgos, Athens, Greece
Salary: €2,860 gross per month starting salary (€40,040 gross per year starting salary).

What you will do
- Design, develop, and test Generative AI applications and features using Python and modern AI frameworks.
- Build proof-of-concepts and scalable AI solutions for warehouse operations, distribution, and logistics.
- Develop and maintain AI-powered applications, APIs, and integrations with enterprise systems and data sources.
- Apply prompt engineering, model evaluation, and continuous improvement practices.
- Support deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization throughout the application lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, warehouse stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and senior engineers while following security and responsible AI practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Foundational knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and AI model evaluation.
- Previous experience with Python, object-oriented programming, software development fundamentals, APIs, databases, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with data preparation, data pipelines, GitHub or other source-control tools, code reviews, and Agile methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, plus foundational CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, logging, and deployment concepts.
Nice to have
- Experience in software engineering, data engineering, AI engineering, or a related area.
- Interest in Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector databases, agentic AI architectures, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI Services, or other cloud-based AI platforms.
