Senior Product Analyst (AI)

Location: Oakland, California, United States. Full-time flexible hybrid role with remote flexibility and regular in-person collaboration; no fixed number of required office days.

Salary: $156,082–$195,102.50 USD annually.

What you will do

• Partner with product managers and product leaders to analyze product adoption, engagement, retention, and customer behavior.
• Define, measure, and monitor product health KPIs and assess the potential impact of new initiatives.
• Analyze product launches and experiments, then recommend prioritization and next steps.
• Identify friction in signup, activation, and adoption funnels and uncover growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain data models, metrics, dashboards, and analytical datasets.
• Translate product, revenue, sales, and support data into recommendations and help colleagues use data effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of analytics experience, primarily in product analytics, ideally at a high-growth B2B or SaaS company.
• Advanced SQL skills, including transforming raw data into reliable datasets and writing, debugging, and explaining SQL.
• Experience using AI tools in analytics workflows while validating AI-generated output.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, preferably dbt, BI tools such as Looker, Omni, or Tableau, and funnel, cohort, and segmentation analysis.
• Ability to turn open-ended questions into clear analyses and recommendations, communicate with executives and engineers, and influence distributed cross-functional teams.
• Must be based in Oakland, California, United States for the hybrid role.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and analyzing A/B/n experiments, including sample sizing and statistical significance.
• Knowledge of SaaS customer lifecycle metrics such as ARR, retention, and expansion.
• Experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Heap and large-scale dbt projects.
• Python or R experience for analysis.
