Medical Writer, Scientific Intelligence (AI)

Location: United States; 100% remote. Travel within the US and internationally may be required based on project needs, with less than 20% travel expected.

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop publications, including abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts, as well as advisory board materials, scientific platforms, gap analyses, literature summaries, slide sets, and training materials.
• Create grammatically accurate, audience-appropriate content while maintaining scientific rigor and compliance standards.
• Use AI-enabled writing and research tools to improve content quality and deliverable turnaround times.
• Understand treatment landscapes and client product positioning to produce strategically aligned materials.
• Assess project needs, solve delivery challenges, participate in client meetings, and answer project-related questions.
• Collaborate with Scientific & Strategic Services, Client Services, Editorial, and Creative teams while managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Requirements

• PhD in life sciences, MD, or PharmD.
• At least one year of experience in an agency, pharmaceutical company, or related scientific or medical writing role.
• Working knowledge of digital marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, quantitative analysis, problem-solving, collaboration, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, calendar and video-conferencing systems, and AI-enabled writing and research tools.
• Commitment to ethical and transparent data dissemination and effectiveness in fully AI-integrated workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience writing about oncology, including solid tumors or hematologic malignancies.
• Familiarity with EndNote, other reference-management software, DataVision, PubMed, or similar scientific databases.
