Software Engineer - Security & Trust

Location: Greater Seattle area, United States; onsite five days per week. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. Visa sponsorship or work permit sponsorship is not available.

Base pay: $110,000–$145,000 per year, with potential additional incentive pay and stock options for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate high-quality software solutions and cloud-native services.
• Build scalable applications, APIs, automation, and platform capabilities that improve productivity, security, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Apply automated testing, CI/CD, observability, Infrastructure as Code, and secure development practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and business partners; contribute to design reviews and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, improve system performance and scalability, and participate in operational support and on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong programming experience in one or more modern languages, including C#, Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience designing and supporting APIs, web services, or distributed systems on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with source control, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and modern software development practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless technologies, containers, Kubernetes, or Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, Service Bus, Event Grid, AKS, or Entra ID.
• Experience building automation, developer platforms, internal tools, or self-service engineering solutions.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, monitoring, observability, security, or operational best practices.
• Experience in regulated, security-conscious, or compliance-driven environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools, generative AI, agent-based systems, or intelligent automation.
