Staff Product Manager - Core Compute Services (AI)

Location: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; or Bellevue, WA

Base salary: $188,000–$275,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead product strategy, roadmap, and execution for core compute services.
• Define instance lifecycle, node images, system software currency, hardware health, remediation, tenancy, and isolation capabilities.
• Develop capacity and reservation semantics for customers and expose reliable compute through APIs.
• Serve external customers and internal teams building higher-level services such as CoreWeave Kubernetes Service.
• Partner with engineering, sales, finance, marketing, and industry partners on product alignment, launches, positioning, and go-to-market execution.
• Conduct market and competitive research, define metrics, and establish reporting to guide product decisions.

Requirements

• Must work from one of the listed U.S. locations: Livingston, NJ; New York, NY; Sunnyvale, CA; or Bellevue, WA.
• Must meet U.S. export-control access requirements for controlled information.
• 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in product management for cloud services or the AI/ML market.
• Deep understanding of instance-layer cloud compute, including provisioning, delivery, maintenance, isolation, and reclamation at scale.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, making strategic decisions, managing projects, mentoring, and working directly with customers.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale compute or instance services such as EC2, Google Compute Engine, Azure Compute, or an equivalent provisioning platform.
• Familiarity with accelerated compute, high-performance interconnects, and large multi-node workloads.
• Understanding of the financial and economic dimensions of cloud compute services.
• MBA or equivalent experience.
