Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps & Cloud Platform) (Azure)

Salary: $102,400–$179,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure and platform engineering solutions.
• Develop reusable platform components, deployment templates, and self-service capabilities for application delivery and infrastructure provisioning.
• Build and optimize GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for software deployment and infrastructure management.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions with Pulumi and configure Azure services including Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, Azure DNS, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, AKS, APIM, and Azure Front Door.
• Establish Kubernetes deployment, orchestration, scaling, resiliency, and secrets management standards.
• Collaborate with application, security, IAM, and SRE teams on troubleshooting, incident resolution, monitoring, and platform reliability.

Requirements

• Experience designing and operating secure, scalable Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, deployment standards, scaling, resiliency, and secrets management.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Pulumi, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, OAuth/OIDC, and workload identity federation.
• Experience with Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics for monitoring and observability.
• Ability to work in Chicago, Illinois, United States.
