Workers' Compensation Claims Supervisor (Remote)

Salary: $78,000–$88,000 per year

What you will do

• Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to workers’ compensation claims adjusters handling medical-only, lost time, and complex claims.
• Review complex and high-exposure claims, including investigations, documentation, reserves, claim strategy, and settlements within assigned authority.
• Monitor compliance with workers’ compensation regulations, company standards, productivity targets, service levels, and file quality.
• Coordinate with Nurse Case Managers and medical providers to support treatment, medical management, and return-to-work outcomes.
• Act as a client contact for claim performance and program updates, and provide operational reporting to leadership.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, staffing coverage, scheduling, workload balancing, performance feedback, and team development.

Requirements

• Active FL 5-20 or 6-20 license required.
• At least 5 years of workers’ compensation claims handling experience.
• Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation laws, regulations, and claim handling practices.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and coaching skills.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance and perform responsibilities during established work hours.
