Manager, Technical Services, Colors, Ingredient Solutions, North America (Food & Beverage Colors)

Location: Princeton, New Jersey, or Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, United States. Regular travel is required to support customers and business needs.

Salary: $114,700–$160,000 per year, plus annual incentive pay and benefits.

What you will do

• Serve as the customer-facing regional expert for food and beverage color solutions across North America.
• Partner with Account Managers and sales teams to support customer opportunities and drive product adoption.
• Lead color matching, formulation, application trials, troubleshooting, and solution development across benchtop, pilot plant, and industrial manufacturing environments.
• Develop customer-specific color concepts, technical presentations, and color pitches aligned with application and brand strategies.
• Design and deliver customized training programs that integrate regulatory, commercial, and application expertise.
• Monitor market and competitor activity while supporting product launches, partnerships, and industry engagement.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in food and beverage applications, including formulation, testing, troubleshooting, and laboratory-based product development.
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage color solutions, color house dynamics, and application strategies.
• Experience managing complex technical projects from concept through trials and implementation, with strong benchtop capabilities.
• Ability to translate technical expertise into customer solutions and influence key stakeholders; customer-facing technical service or technical sales experience is advantageous.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills across regulatory, commercial, and application teams, with willingness to travel regularly.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a food- or beverage-related science or technology field; significant industry experience is preferred.
