Senior Director, Americas Region Lead, Diversity & Inclusion in Clinical Trials (AI)

Location: Morristown, New Jersey; hybrid role for US and Puerto Rico residents only. Ability to travel 20%.

Salary: $206,250.00–$297,916.66 annually.

What you will do

• Lead the Americas Diversity & Inclusion in Clinical Trials strategy and coordinate its multi-year innovation roadmap with global leadership.
• Develop operational strategies using automated reporting, real-time enrollment tracking, KPI dashboards, predictive modeling, and demographic analytics.
• Manage regional budgets and resources while prioritizing technology investments and efficiency improvements.
• Build partnerships with clinical sites, patient advocates, technology providers, health authorities, policy makers, and industry consortiums.
• Improve diverse patient recruitment and retention by strengthening site capabilities, providing training, and supporting clinical trial teams.
• Collaborate across R&D, Corporate Affairs, Public Affairs, Clinical Sciences Operations, Vaccines, Real World Evidence, and Digital teams.

Requirements

• MS degree required.
• At least 5 years of clinical trial experience in the pharmaceutical industry or complex matrix organizations.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, required.
• Experience with clinical trial operations, patient enrollment initiatives, cross-functional leadership, and data-driven KPI management.
• Strong project management, communication, analytical, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, digital tools, regulatory requirements, and clinical research data.

Nice to have

• PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of FDA, Health Canada, national competent authorities, and industry consortiums such as TransCelerate.
• Experience with policy advocacy, external stakeholder engagement, and leading without formal authority in global matrix environments.
