Senior Cloud Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; remote work is available from the office in Warsaw or a coworking space in your city

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain large-scale, highly available hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy and operate containerized workloads on managed Kubernetes services such as AKS, EKS, and GKE.
• Build Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD workflows using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and GitOps principles.
• Manage cloud services including content delivery, DNS, object storage, IAM, RBAC, and least-privilege access.
• Improve observability with metrics, dashboards, and alerts using Grafana and Prometheus.
• Collaborate with Security, SRE, and Platform teams on governance, compliance, networking, reliability, and FinOps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure in large-scale environments.
• Practical experience with highly available multi-cloud environments and at least two of AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong knowledge of managed Kubernetes, DevOps, Platform Engineering, and GitOps principles.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, IAM, RBAC, least-privilege security, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with hybrid networking, production-grade environments, and regulated industries such as fintech or banking.

Nice to have

• Experience with Atlantis, Terragrunt, Argo CD, Flux, Wiz, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
• AWS, Azure, GCP, or CNCF certifications such as CKA or CKAD.
