Engineering Team Lead (AI)

Company

hirify.global is building a multi-agent AI platform that automates CFO office work and financial operations for businesses.

What you will do

• Build and lead a new engineering team developing an enterprise product line on top of the hirify.global AI finance platform.
• Work as a player-coach, spending approximately half of the time on hands-on engineering, coding, and reviews, and half on architecture, planning, and people leadership.
• Own the product-line architecture, align it with the core platform, and lead System Design Reviews.
• Build integrations with AI finance agents, MCP infrastructure, agent orchestration, accounting platforms, banks, and payment systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, and Stripe.
• Own delivery, testing strategy, code review standards, observability, incident response, security, and data integrity.
• Hire, onboard, mentor, and develop engineers while partnering with the Product Director and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading a team with accountability for delivery.
• Experience building products or systems from scratch and taking them to production with a small team.
• B2/C1 English level required.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development required, including agentic coding workflows, codebase context management, and end-to-end verification of AI-generated output.
• Proficiency in frontend and backend development with TypeScript, Node.js/Nest.js, React, SQL, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Strong system design, security, hiring, mentoring, and infrastructure experience, with the ability to work in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice to have

• Production experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic or OpenAI, RAG, agents, or evaluations.
• Fintech or security-focused project experience.
• Knowledge of Go or Python.
• Early-stage startup experience or infrastructure setup experience.
