Robotics Engineer & Certification Lead (Drone Delivery)

Location: Ski, Norway; 100% onsite, approximately 10 minutes by train from Oslo.

What you will do

• Develop new concepts and designs for fixed-wing VTOL drones across hardware and software.
• Lead certification workflows end-to-end, from requirements definition to evidence and proof.
• Analyze flight logs when failures occur and identify and solve root causes.
• Contribute to the development and certification of autonomous last-mile delivery systems.

Requirements

• Impressive experience with hardware, physics, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of drone systems, flight controls, avionics, and embedded communications.
• Highly structured approach and strong focus on results.
• Relevant technologies include UART, I2C, CAN, USB, PWM, NMEA, PID controllers, RTK, BLDC motors, lithium batteries, CubeOrange, Raspberry Pi, uBlox F9P, and ICM20948.
• Knowledge of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and rigid-body physics.
