Senior Electronics Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Oslo, Norway; office-based role at Skøyen.

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of circuits and electronic systems for autonomous wheels.
• Define electronic requirements, specifications, and design solutions.
• Design, prototype, test, and verify electronic solutions.
• Manage design data in the product data management system.
• Mentor engineers and strengthen hardware practices across the team.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of both hardware and software.
• Systematic approach to fault tracing and debugging.
• Solid foundation in circuit theory.
• Hands-on experience with schematic design and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of computer-level hardware.
• Experience debugging reliability issues involving noise, EMI, and grounding.

Nice to have

• Bus protocols such as CAN and Ethernet.
• Brushless motor control using FOC.
• Altium schematic capture.
• Industrial and automotive safety standards, including ISO 13849 and IEC 62061.
• EMC/RF principles and a background in robotics or automation.
