Full-Stack Developer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Fully remote, with working hours within ±3 hours of Oslo time

hirify.global develops an automated architectural design tool for floor planning that generates custom layouts and provides data on costs, carbon emissions, and efficiency.

What you will do

• Own product features end-to-end, focusing on performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Improve and maintain the browser-based visual editor and its backend server.
• Build frontend functionality with modern React and maintain Node.js and Rust backend services.
• Work with Python and Go services used across the product.
• Design efficient architecture and data flows with developers, designers, and product leads.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries through Prisma while maintaining data integrity.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of ESLint, type parameterization, and modern React functional components.
• Experience with Next.js, Node.js, Prisma ORM, and TanStack Query.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL or a similar relational database.
• Ability to work independently with vague guidelines and high autonomy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with availability within ±3 hours of Oslo time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust, Python, or Go.
• Interest in complex product challenges and architectural problem-solving.
