Fullstack Developer (Fintech)

hirify.global is an early-stage fintech startup building a mobile-first, visual, and gamified strategy builder for creating and refining trading strategies.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs, WebSocket integrations, and real-time data services.
• Integrate Alpaca, Yahoo Finance, Alpha Vantage, and other financial data providers for live and historical market data.
• Improve performance across large datasets, strategy simulations, and live market flows.
• Contribute to frontend features using React and TypeScript.
• Support data modeling, platform architecture, Docker-based applications, and Azure DevOps pipelines and sprints.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Pydantic, RESTful API design, WebSockets, real-time data patterns, and external API integrations.
• Exposure to React and TypeScript for occasional frontend contributions.
• Solid understanding of Git, technical documentation, and collaborative development workflows.
• Comfort working remotely in an async-first, high-ownership environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and familiarity with CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture, performance, and state management.
• Exposure to Flutter or mobile-backend integration.
