Senior Project Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; primarily office-based with regular coordination with site teams

What you will do

• Prepare tenders and service orders, including scope definitions, technical evaluations, and commercial coordination.
• Support project planning, scheduling, technical coordination, and transition activities between office and site teams.
• Review design drawings, specifications, technical submittals, method statements, RFIs, and progress reports.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, stakeholders, client meetings, and site activities while monitoring performance and project progress.
• Support quality compliance, cost monitoring, safety and environmental compliance, handover documentation, and project close-out.
• Resolve design, construction, and site issues and maintain effective information flow between the Abu Dhabi office and site teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience.
• Strong technical and engineering background with experience working in complex, multidisciplinary environments.
• Experience with clients, contractors, and international stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Nice to have

• Experience in the Majnoon Oil Field or Basra, Iraq.
• Arabic language skills.
