Project Coordinator I (Digital Communications)

Location: On-site in College Station, Texas; not eligible for remote work. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $4,166.67 per month; the posting also lists a salary of $50,000.

What you will do

• Coordinate the production, editing, publishing, and promotion of educational articles, blogs, videos, podcasts, audio recordings, and other multimedia resources.
• Assist with video and audio recording, lighting, editing, captioning, and preparation of content for online distribution.
• Create and publish website content using WordPress and similar content management systems.
• Format webpages and articles, apply SEO practices, conduct keyword research, and optimize titles, descriptions, headings, and internal links.
• Support social media promotion, content repurposing, and monitoring of website, video, and social media engagement metrics.
• Coordinate schedules, production activities, project files, deliverables, accessibility, branding, usability, and content quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communications, agricultural communications, journalism, marketing, digital media, multimedia production, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of related project coordination or administration experience.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-based office environment in College Station, Texas.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Ability to organize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and collaborate with faculty, staff, communications professionals, and subject matter experts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, professional, and accessible digital content.

Nice to have

• Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of podcast audio recording and editing, WordPress, online article formatting, SEO, social media, and multimedia production.
• Experience gained through internships, student employment, coursework, volunteer activities, or personal projects in communications or digital media.
