Multimedia Journalist/Reporter

Location: Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States; full-time, on-site newsroom and field reporting role

What you will do

• Develop community relationships, evaluate leads, build source networks, and enterprise impactful local stories.
• Research, write, edit, and deliver news content for television, websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
• Shoot and edit video, conduct interviews, create stand-ups, and perform engaging live shots.
• Respond to breaking news, urgent newsroom situations, and assigned field photojournalism work.
• Maintain journalistic integrity and production quality while meeting deadlines and managing multiple assignments.
• Collaborate with management and newsroom staff, contribute to newscasts, and participate in community and promotional activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Fluency in English required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to ad-lib when required.
• Strong on-air presence, news judgment, and knowledge of local and national current events.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, multitask, listen effectively, and collaborate with a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and flexibility to work any shift.

Nice to have

• Professional experience in news anchoring or on-camera news reporting.
• High engagement with social media platforms and experience creating digital news content.
