TL;DR
GEOINT Systems Engineer IV (MBSE): Supporting the definition, acquisition, and verification of GEOINT space systems with an accent on requirements engineering, architecture baselines, system integration, and model-based systems engineering. Focus on developing SysML and MBSE models, assessing engineering artifacts and technical performance, and solving complex space, ground, and enterprise system challenges.
Location: Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania, United States; no remote or telework allowed
Salary: $5,000 per month

What you will do
- Support capability and solution definition for future space systems through readiness events and independent review teams.
- Support systems engineering for GEOINT space system acquisitions, including architecture, requirements, interfaces, CONOPS, schedules, risks, and verification strategies.
- Participate in integrated product teams, engineering working groups, and design reviews to assess engineering artifacts and requirement traceability.
- Create quantifiable requirements from customer descriptions, system planning, design, and acquisition logistics.
- Apply MBSE principles and develop mission-system models using architecture, workflow, analytical, and data visualization tools.
- Collaborate with space-system subject matter experts and MBSE/SysML specialists to identify and implement modeling solutions.
Requirements
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- 8–10 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6–8 years with a master's degree, or 3–5 years with a PhD in systems engineering or a related technical or scientific field.
- Experience in requirements engineering, systems integration, and risk, issue, and opportunity management.
- Ability to identify and solve problems, support customer needs, communicate clearly, and work autonomously.
- Ability to lead or support multiple projects and operate effectively across SETA, FFRDC, and governmental lines of authority.
Nice to have
- GEOINT mission expertise in electro-optical, radar, or related system areas.
- Experience with MBSE tools, UML, SysML, digital engineering, and systems engineering modeling methodologies.
- Experience with CONOPS development, end-to-end systems engineering, user-needs analysis, and solution assessment.
- Experience with Agile or SAFe Agile development methods.
- OCSMP Level 1, 2, or 3 certification and technical or team leadership experience.
