Security Engineer (AI)

Location: Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, or Poland; supports a 100% remote/hybrid workforce

What you will do

• Lead security strategy for a remote and hybrid workforce using identity as the primary security perimeter.
• Own Conditional Access policies and automate onboarding, offboarding, and real-time security posture enforcement.
• Manage endpoint security for macOS and Windows and configure security controls across Rippling, Office 365, and Salesforce.
• Implement Zero Trust access, DLP policies, and SSO enforcement across vendor platforms.
• Use AI and LLM tools to automate repetitive work, improve technical output, and solve complex security problems.
• Maintain alignment with SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR requirements.

Requirements

• Experience protecting data and identity in modern security environments rather than relying primarily on firewalls and servers.
• High proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Ability to design logical security guardrails and solve complex problems from first principles.
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture, Conditional Access Policies, modern identity, SaaS operations, AI tools, and MDM.
• Ability to independently own the IT security lifecycle end to end.
