Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Argentina — candidates must be based in La Plata, Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, or Mendoza. Hybrid work with one day per week at the nearest office.

What you will do

• Develop a deep understanding of the AWS and co-located data center infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and strengthen the platform’s security layer.
• Identify vulnerabilities and improvement opportunities across the security infrastructure.
• Audit platform activity and analyze deployment specifications.
• Define security policies with Audit and Risk teams and support client compliance requirements.
• Implement security projects and manage identity access using RBAC.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Linux, including server and database hardening.
• Deep understanding of networking, firewalls, and intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Knowledge of data encryption, key management, hybrid cloud security, and data protection across data centers and AWS.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, penetration testing, incident detection, and incident response.
• Development skills.
• Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work and interest in emerging AI capabilities.
