Security Remediation Expert (Vulnerability Management)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office in Warsaw, Łódź or Tricity (Gdańsk/Gdynia), Poland

Rate: 165 PLN/h net + VAT on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Lead the identification of remediation gaps and strategic resolution initiatives across the organization.
• Analyze complex vulnerability scanning results and define actions to reduce security risk exposure.
• Advise stakeholders and remediation owners on security best practices, regulatory expectations, prioritization, and remediation timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional remediation execution and maintain governance over security findings.
• Contribute to risk scoring for near real-time, risk-based prioritization of critical vulnerabilities.
• Prepare stakeholder presentations, influence remediation outcomes, and mentor security team members.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience assessing and remediating security findings.
• Expert knowledge of vulnerability scoring frameworks, security risk assessment, and remediation governance.
• Knowledge of problem management, Secure DevOps, DORA, and OWASP.
• Understanding of AI threats, AI governance applications, risk management, exploratory data analysis, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with automation, preferably using Python, Apache Airflow, and/or Power Automate.
• Fluent business and technical English, written and spoken.

• Previous experience in banking or financial services.
