Full Stack Developer (TypeScript/Node.js)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications across responsive interfaces, backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases.
• Build TypeScript client- and server-side components, Node.js services with Express and ORM technologies, and Go microservices using Echo or comparable frameworks.
• Develop single-page applications with Vue, React, Angular, or comparable frameworks, including Redis-based caching and session management.
• Design and document REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger and implement OIDC/JWT authentication using Keycloak or a similar identity provider.
• Develop automated unit and end-to-end tests, containerize applications with Docker, and maintain GitLab CI/CD build, security, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, DevSecOps and Platform Engineers, QA teams, and other stakeholders in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, documentation, and software delivery.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required.
• 3–7 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Professional TypeScript experience for client- and server-side development, including Node.js, Express, and an ORM such as TypeORM.
• Experience with Go REST microservices, modern SPA frameworks, MariaDB or MySQL, strong SQL, and version-controlled schema migrations.
• Experience with Redis, OpenAPI/Swagger, OIDC/JWT and Keycloak, automated testing with JavaScript/TypeScript and Go, Cypress, Docker, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of full-stack architecture, integration, troubleshooting, secure development practices, and collaboration with technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience decomposing monoliths into microservices and implementing expand/contract database migrations.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry, structured logging, observability, Kubernetes, GitOps, Flux, Kustomize, or Helm.
• Experience with AWS, AWS GovCloud, DoD IL2 or IL5 environments, Rust, and federal or DoD programs.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CSP, software composition analysis, dependency scanning, and application security.
• CompTIA Security+ certification meeting DoD 8140 IAT Level II requirements.
