Internal Audit - Investigations Specialist (Crypto)

What you will do

• Lead and conduct internal investigations into fraud, misconduct, and violations of company policy or law.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal, Compliance, and other departments to collect information and documentation.
• Apply forensic analysis and investigative techniques to establish facts and reconstruct events.
• Plan and execute internal audits across business units covering financial, operational, and compliance risks.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Prepare investigation and audit reports for management, including findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal investigations, auditing, or a similar corporate role.
• Knowledge of forensic principles, fraud investigation techniques, and internal audit standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using investigation and audit software tools, including data analytics for identifying potential fraud.
• Ability to handle sensitive investigations confidentially, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CFE.
