Sustainability Internship

Location: Hilversum, Netherlands. Hybrid working is available, with up to 2 work-from-home days per week for 40-hour internships. The internship lasts 5 months and starts in September 2026.

Internship allowance: €450 gross per month, plus up to €23 per day in travel allowance where applicable.

What you will do

• Support social and environmental supply chain compliance, including audits, virtual factory tours, corrective action plan management, and supply chain traceability.
• Help develop ESG requirements, manuals, policies, and internal sustainability training.
• Input and analyze ESG data and prepare reports.
• Support administrative activities, including email filtering and document preparation and distribution.
• Assist with meetings by synthesizing key learnings and contribute to ongoing sustainability projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, HBO+, or WO program in a relevant sustainability field such as environmental science or human rights.
• Interest in EU sustainability legislation, sustainable business practices, and supply chains.
• Strong analytical, research, written, and oral communication skills.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English required. Dutch or an Asian language is an advantage.
• Availability for at least 40 hours per week for the full 5-month internship; school assignments and thesis work are not permitted.
