Senior Generalist Programmer (C++)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid with on-site attendance 2–3 days per week

What you will do

• Develop and debug game systems for PC and console platforms.
• Build and maintain systems using C++ and Unreal Engine or proprietary engines.
• Implement and support networking systems and game subsystems such as AI, input, physics, and asset pipelines.
• Optimize performance through memory management, multithreading, profiling, and debugging.
• Collaborate with top-tier game studios on technically challenging projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional game development experience.
• Strong C++ expertise with knowledge of memory management, performance optimization, and multithreading.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or proprietary game engines.
• Experience with networking systems and performance profiling tools such as Unreal Insights, PIX, or Visual Studio Profiler.
• Experience developing and debugging for PC and console, plus familiarity with source control systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Stockholm 2–3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Shader programming skills.
• At least one shipped game.
• Backend programming or integration experience.
