Associate Software Engineer (C++)

What you will do

• Implement and test new features for Candy Crush Soda Saga in collaboration with engineers, game designers, artists, and QA colleagues.
• Maintain, improve, and optimize existing game features to support stability, quality, and performance.
• Write clear, structured C++ code and follow engineering practices, code reviews, and quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve routine technical issues while seehirify.global guidance on complex challenges.
• Contribute ideas, learn the wider game-development process, and collaborate openly with the team.

Requirements

• Practical software-development experience through professional work, internships, personal projects, or university projects.
• Good foundation in C++ and object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with implementing and testing features in an object-oriented programming environment.
• Experience with version control, code reviews, or team-based projects.
• Ability to write maintainable code, troubleshoot issues, and understand software testing, debugging, quality, and performance.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, clear communication, collaboration, and effective prioritization.

Nice to have

• Experience with game development, Android or iOS development, or performance- and memory-sensitive applications.
