Product Manager - Data and Analytics (Insurance)

What you will do

• Own Talbot’s data products, product strategy, value proposition, roadmap, standards, prioritization, and governance.
• Partner with underwriting leaders, business stakeholders, engineering, architecture, data governance, and delivery teams to shape data solutions and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Translate strategy into prioritized backlogs, acceptance criteria, release plans, SLAs, and KPIs covering data quality, timeliness, completeness, adoption, and business impact.
• Drive user engagement and analytics product adoption through feedback, usage analytics, training, communications, champion networks, and post-implementation reviews.
• Use AI and automation to enhance data product strategy and delivery, while defining controls and monitoring for production data products.
• Manage team members through objective setting, performance reviews, coaching, and hiring support, and participate in service delivery governance reviews.

Requirements

• Extensive data product management experience within the insurance industry.
• Strong data experience, technical and data literacy, and the ability to develop data solutions.
• Experience with data warehousing and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams and translate business requirements into data product changes.
