Backend Developer (PHP)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania — on-site

Salary: €1,800–€2,300 gross per month for employees in Lithuania

What you will do

• Maintain, optimize, and expand an e-commerce engine and critical internal web systems.
• Design, build, and maintain high-performing REST APIs and relational database structures.
• Write clean, testable code and ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product owners to define and implement technical solutions.

Requirements

• Strong professional knowledge of PHP.
• Experience with Symfony or similar frameworks such as Laravel.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with MySQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of web architecture, REST APIs, and Git version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good English communication abilities.
• Availability to work on-site in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Redis, Elasticsearch, CI/CD pipelines, or basic frontend frameworks such as Vue.js.
