PHP (Laravel) Software Engineer with Salesforce/Apex

What you will do

• Develop and maintain ALDP platform features using PHP and Laravel, including back-end services, REST APIs, queues, and integrations.
• Build and support integrations with rostering and LMS providers and Salesforce.
• Develop Salesforce functionality with Apex, triggers, flows, and platform integrations when needed.
• Write automated tests, participate in GitHub code reviews, and maintain Jira tickets.
• Collaborate with the US client team through daily stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, and demos.
• Participate in technical design and estimation of new features.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial PHP experience, including PHP 8.x.
• Strong commercial Laravel experience with Eloquent, queues/jobs, policies, migrations, and API resources.
• Strong MySQL and SQL skills, including performance optimization and data migrations.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with automated testing using PHPUnit or Pest, plus Git, code review, and Docker.
• English at B2+ level is required for daily communication with the US client team.

Nice to have

• Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, triggers, flows, Salesforce REST/Bulk API, and external integrations.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
• EdTech or K-12 experience and knowledge of OneRoster, Clever, Edlink, or Google Classroom.
• AWS, Terraform, Vue.js, or React experience.
