Senior Analytics Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

What you will do

• Design and build data platforms in Microsoft Fabric and lead Power BI implementations end to end.
• Lead Infor Birst implementations, extensions, support, and security configuration for Infor CloudSuite Distribution data.
• Profile ERP and related data, design reliable ingestion processes, preserve raw data, and handle change capture and deletes.
• Build dimensional models, pipelines, incremental loads, data quality checks, monitoring, alerts, and schema-drift detection.
• Support platforms such as Phocas and advise on data feeds, mapping, ERP integration, suitability, and maintenance costs.
• Use AI tools for development, profiling, documentation, and testing; prepare semantic models for conversational analytics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in BI, analytics engineering, or data warehousing, including client-facing or multi-business-unit delivery.
• Strong Power BI expertise, including data modeling, advanced DAX, Power Query/M, performance tuning, deployment management, and row-level security.
• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience with lakehouses, warehouses, Dataflows Gen2, pipelines, and semantic models.
• Advanced SQL, query tuning, ETL/ELT design, incremental loads, slowly changing dimensions, error handling, and scheduling.
• Experience extracting ERP data, reconciling reports against the system of record, and translating business needs into technical designs.
• Upper-Intermediate+ English required for confident client communication; strong documentation and production support skills are expected.

Nice to have

• Azure data platform, Infor Birst, Infor CloudSuite Distribution, SX.e, Infor ION/Data Lake, or Phocas experience.
• Wholesale distribution knowledge covering order-to-cash, purchasing, inventory, pricing, margins, and fill rates.
• Python or Spark for data transformation; Git and CI/CD for analytics assets.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-300, DP-600, or DP-700.
• Experience with consulting, MSP, VAR, or ERP partner environments and multiple client tenants.
