Product Manager (Humanoid Platform)

Location: Zürich, Switzerland; regular hands-on work with robots in a testing space and travel to customer sites across Europe and beyond of up to 15%. Relocation and permit sponsorship are available for Switzerland.

What you will do

• Define the developer experience for engineers working with humanoid robots.
• Own the roadmap for SDKs, APIs, CLI tools, GUIs, diagnostics, and integration frameworks.
• Productize policy deployment at scale, including hardware characterization, simulation-to-reality analysis, self-service workflows, and runtime observability.
• Support hardware design engagements by translating simulation-based capability analysis into recommendations for robot manufacturers.
• Run robot integrations, reproduce bugs, validate tooling in real-world conditions, and prioritize the backlog using adoption data and customer feedback.
• Create documentation, tutorials, and reference architectures that enable customer self-service.

Requirements

• Product management experience with developer-facing products such as SDKs, APIs, developer platforms, or embedded tooling.
• Strong technical foundation, including the ability to read and navigate a C++ codebase and participate in architecture discussions.
• Working understanding of robot software stacks, real-time control loops, sensor and actuator interfaces, and simulation-to-hardware differences.
• Experience working with external developer communities or B2B technical customers, ideally integrating third-party hardware or platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including API specifications, partner updates, and roadmap narratives.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Europe and beyond, up to 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, control theory, system identification, motion planning, or actuator modelling.
• Hands-on experience with robots, embedded systems, or other physical products.
• Exposure to safety certification or regulated-machinery requirements.
