Cyber Security Consultant

Location: Hybrid work from Gdynia, Gdańsk, Warszawa, or Łódź, Poland, with 2–3 days per week in the office.

Salary: 900–1,100 PLN per day on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Support vulnerability management processes in a financial-sector cybersecurity environment.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities across IT infrastructure and recommend remediation actions.
• Conduct vulnerability research using CVE databases, NVD, vendor advisories, and security bulletins.
• Operate vulnerability scanning tools and analyze security findings, logs, and troubleshooting data.
• Assess Windows, Linux, network infrastructure, and AI-enabled systems.
• Investigate cybersecurity threats and contribute to AI security initiatives involving LLMs and AI agents.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, prioritization, remediation, CVSS, CVE, and risk analysis.
• Experience with Qualys, Nessus, Rapid7, or OpenVAS.
• Good understanding of Windows, Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and routing.
• Basic Linux command-line and PowerShell skills.
• Awareness of security risks related to AI, LLMs, and AI-powered applications.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NIST and CIS Controls.
