Associate Fund Accountant (Private Equity)

What you will do

• Provide fund accounting services for private equity clients, including NAV preparation, accruals, investment valuation, and cash reconciliations.
• Calculate management fees, performance fees, and waterfalls in line with fund documents.
• Prepare investor allocations, NAV packages, capital calls, and distribution calculations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external clients to deliver work according to service-level agreements.
• Resolve client queries and identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
• At least two years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, fund administration, private equity, debt funds, or industry.
• Strong knowledge of management and performance fee calculations, FX translation, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, and willingness to adopt new technologies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including experience liaising with external parties.

• Knowledge of Investran accounting software.
