Senior Business Analyst (Capital Markets)

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk or Warszawa, with 2–3 days per week in the office

Salary: 1,000–1,200 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Analyse business processes, workflows, business rules, applications, integrations and data flows across securities services and post-trade operations.
• Gather, document and validate requirements from business stakeholders, operations teams and other programme participants.
• Identify functional gaps and country-specific variations between current and target operating models.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Translate business needs into structured requirements, user stories and solution recommendations.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams on target processes, solution validation, governance materials and business-impact assessments.

Requirements

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst, including business process analysis and process mapping.
• Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder interviews, analysing complex operational workflows, and documenting requirements.
• Understanding of the stock trading lifecycle, post-trade processing, settlement and safekeeping.
• Experience with application landscapes, integrations, data flows, APIs, interfaces and system interactions.
• Ability to bridge business and technology discussions and collaborate with Solution Architects and technical teams.
• Experience in financial services, capital markets or securities services environments.

Nice to have

• Equity trading experience.
• Regulatory reporting or regulatory and market-driven transformation experience.
• Knowledge of securities account structures, compliance and regulatory initiatives.
