Middle/Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java)

Location: Remote from Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications, including frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and database integrations.
• Build responsive user experiences and scalable server-side applications with RESTful integrations.
• Design and optimize relational database structures, queries, data storage, and data integrity.
• Apply secure development practices covering validation, authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and data protection.
• Troubleshoot performance issues, debug applications, and improve existing solutions.
• Test, deploy, manage, and support applications in cloud environments using containerization and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate, and the wider Spring ecosystem.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular.
• Hands-on experience designing, securing, and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling, plus experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud deployment, containerization, CI/CD, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Master’s degree with 5–10 years of professional IT experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 7–12 years of relevant experience; English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.
