Analytics Engineer

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid model requiring onsite work 50% of the time

What you will do

• Design and implement robust data models and BI solutions with stakeholders across finance, B2B, and B2C teams.
• Build, test, and maintain data transformations using dbt.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and well-documented analytical data pipelines.
• Apply version control, CI/CD, automated testing, and other software engineering practices to data workflows.
• Support data and BI infrastructure, cloud migration, and day-to-day project needs.
• Identify and resolve issues across ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, BI, or Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Understanding of cloud data migration using AWS Redshift or GCP BigQuery.
• Experience with database design, Git or GitHub, CI/CD, and ETL/ELT tools such as Airflow.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and adaptability.
