Master Thesis - Design and Implementation of a Dynamic Current Sink for Power Supply Transient Characterization

Location: Lund, Sweden; on-site. The thesis is open only to students affiliated with a Swedish University/College directly or through an exchange program.

What you will do

• Study the transient requirements of power supplies used in AXIS products.
• Design and implement a dynamic current sink for power supply characterization.
• Develop a step-response test board covering a wide range of regulation voltages and current loads.
• Enable dynamically adjustable high slew-rate current steps.
• Verify voltage undershoot, overshoot, control-loop stability, damping, and settling behavior.

Requirements

• Currently studying a Master’s program in Electronics, Physics Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong interest in analog electronic design and/or control theory.
• Must be affiliated with a Swedish University/College directly or through an exchange program.
• Submit a CV and University/College grade summary with the application.
• Applications may be submitted in Swedish or English.
