Purchasing Business Analyst

What you will do

• Monitor KPI and APL performance, identify deviations and patterns, and translate insights into actions and decision points.
• Improve consistency of definitions, data quality, and comparability across teams and purchasing categories.
• Connect historical, trend, benchmark, and other internal and external data to develop decision-ready insights.
• Facilitate complex business questions and frame options with benefits, risks, and trade-offs.
• Align stakeholders and ensure decisions are adopted through updated processes, routines, and ownership.
• Support relevant purchasing, logistics, and engineering processes, including APL, SDP, PDP, BCPs, and RFQs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the purchasing industry.
• Strong analytical capability, including data analysis, structured problem-solving, and clear communication of insights.
• Business understanding in purchasing, logistics, or engineering, with knowledge of related processes and KPI landscapes.
• Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority, build alignment, and drive decisions into implementation.
• Experience with relevant tools and applications such as Excel ISOT, QS, Power BI, and AI, with a strong focus on data accuracy and transparency.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese is required.
