Product Support Engineer

Location: Qingdao, Shandong, China. The role requires approximately 40%–50% domestic and/or international travel depending on business and project needs.

What you will do

• Support new products and changes to existing products.
• Gather stakeholder input to identify potential products and product improvements.
• Evaluate production processes to identify manufacturing and design defects.
• Provide input on design modifications that improve production efficiency and product quality.
• Identify and track quality defects through resolution in manufacturing.
• Communicate technical specifications and instructions while managing product issue status.

Requirements

• Experience or knowledge in product support and manufacturing quality processes.
• Ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze data from multiple stakeholders and sources.
• Ability to identify, anticipate, and resolve operational or process problems.
• Ability to communicate technical information and provide guidance to internal and external clients.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, and peers.
• Based in Qingdao, Shandong, China, with 40%–50% domestic and/or international travel required.
