What you will do

• Design and optimize end-to-end search algorithms for large-screen content, including intent understanding, multilingual query parsing, recall, ranking, and re-ranking.
• Develop personalized recommendation systems for household and individual user profiles across home viewing and leisure scenarios.
• Build unified search and real-time recommendation architecture connecting content representation, user modeling, ranking, search behavior, and recommendation intent.
• Optimize multilingual and cross-lingual retrieval for voice and text search across global markets.
• Build data feedback loops covering exposure, clicks, conversions, and negative feedback, and validate improvements through A/B testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry R&D experience in search, recommendation, or NLP algorithms.
• Experience deploying and optimizing large-scale online search or recommendation systems end to end.
• Strong foundations in machine learning and deep learning, including models such as two-tower recall, DeepFM, Wide & Deep, DIN, and multi-objective ranking.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, plus search engines, vector databases, feature engineering, and real-time or offline computing frameworks such as Flink and Spark.
• Knowledge of search and recommendation metrics, A/B testing, data analysis, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis.

Nice to have

• Search and recommendation experience for Smart TVs, smart-home terminals, streaming content, or overseas large-screen devices.
• Experience with multilingual NLP, cross-lingual retrieval, or global search and recommendation systems.
• Experience with family multi-user modeling, scenario-aware personalization, LLM retrieval augmentation, or unified search-recommendation modeling.
