Production Development Engineer (AI)

Location: Mariehamn, Åland, Finland; onsite workplace

What you will do

• Coordinate the construction of test sensors and test units with production, including material flow and test-batch planning.
• Ensure continuous sample supply for calibration and test equipment.
• Collect, structure, and perform basic analysis of process parameters and measurement data.
• Identify and report build-process deviations and contribute to production and development improvements.
• Coordinate daily communication between development and production during prototype builds.
• Document processes, test results, lessons learned, and development next steps.

Requirements

• Engineering or engineering technician degree at Bachelor or Master level.
• Suitable for a relatively recent graduate who is eager to apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
• Structured approach to data and interest in working close to production.
• Good written and spoken Swedish and English are required.
• Ability to learn quickly, take responsibility, and work between theory and practical manufacturing.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of vacuum technology, mechanics, or electronics.
